I love vegetables and many vegan dishes, but I am not a strict vegan. I am mostly a lacto-ovo vegetarian. I love plant-based dishes and choose to make them a major part of my diet, but I wanted to be upfront about my dietary choices.
The recipes on this blog are mostly vegan or vegetarian.
I enjoy and follow a mostly Mediterranean diet for many health reasons. Because of this, I started to follow a hybrid diet that includes a moderate serving of animal-based protein once per day but is mostly plant-based.

I am a home cook who loves cooking whole foods and making my favorite dishes healthier and plant-based.
I believe that choosing a vegan or vegetarian lifestyle can be adaptable to the person and may mean different things to different folks. I also like to explore how to make it an affordable lifestyle choice that doesn't require a lot of complicated ingredients that are easy to source.
I am not about the politics of eating but instead focusing on enjoying the food and health benefits of vegan food choices.
